I really like the idea of using the motion sensor to shake off melee attacks. That's an original use of the technology, not flying some boring plane.

You should actually read the article instead of bashing it. It's pretty fair. Any drop in market share for Sony from the PS2 is a loss for them. Anyone who actually knows the business feels that at best, Sony will lead by only a few percentage points. That is a loss for Sony. There's no way you can spin it otherwise.
Can you imagine playing a game that had a camera like that? It would be unplayable. It looks like there's only 2 shots that could possibly be gameplay.

Or worse, if the player cost $1000 I still have the CHOICE whether I want to buy it or not. I choose not to. With a PS3 I don't have the choice and have to pay more money for hardware I don't want or need.
